Highlander Week Honors Tradition Monday started the traditional week with the students reigning high because it was Hi-Student Day. No homework was to be given on this day but some books were seen leaving the building. Hi-Laddie Day followed with the boys making the girls their slaves. The girls got revenge the following day for the things that were done to them the day before. Many unusual and strange happenings and noises were heard both on Hi-Laddie Day and Hi-Lassie Day. Mrs. Dennie Moore and Mr. Don Miller were chosen friendliest teachers in a contest held on Hi-Teacher Day. Friday brought the traditional Hi- Henderson Day Con with the theme being Piper on the Roof, The Highland Fling concluded Highlander Week on Saturday night featuring Sweet Leaf. Friendliest Boys and Girls of each class, chosen in a contest held during the week. were coronated as a highlight to the dance.
