principal's message Shadlc Park High School this June will have completed its fourth year. You graduates of the Class of 1961 will be the first to have had all four years in this school. This annual gives you the story in words and pictures of this part of your life. It is hoped that you have received not only a fine secondary education, but also that you have enjoyed these high school days. There have, of course, been sorrows and disappointments along with achievements and accomplishments. Congratulations to the Class of 1961. You have given us the leadership so that the student body might fulfill the pledge given at our A.S.B. installation ceremony “to leave our school in a better state than I found it.” May you seniors continue your good work in college or wherever you happen to be. May you meet with success and may you always feel with pride that you arc a graduate of Shadle Park, and in turn may Shadle Park always be proud of you. 5
