National Recognition and Class Fun Five Valley student entered the National Council of Teachers of English Contest. They are: Ann Wheeler, Jim Thompson, Mary Vines, Dot Siegal, and Linda Ennis. Valley is proud lo acknowledge Lynda Ennis who won the N. C. T. E. award for outstanding achievement in English. Linda who was cited for high quality of writing and literary awareness was one of eight in Alabama to win. Only 860 national winners out of 8000 entrants were chosen. 20
