been able to dovsn Boswell on the local grid Although outgalned by a 14 8 margin in first dovsns the visitors made the best of their single scoring oppor tunnty rn the opening chapter They had another chance nn the final quarter resting on the six yard lme when the game ended Shades touchdovsn was recorded halfway through the opening chapter when Boswell was forced to punt from deep in its ovxn last eight years the Blue and White Ramblers had been bowling over the little Tovunshrppers almost as they pleased but rr was a completely different story at Delaney Field yesterday as Shade being coached for the first year by joe Macalka dictated the terms through thc ennrc first three quarters Wrndber came to life in the final frame to ring up eight first downs against none and gain IC3 yards for its lone touchdown but by that time the invaders had the bacon safely salted away The winners showed an ll 10 edge rn first don ns and gained 361 yards from all sources against Wmdbers 739 Standing out in the triumph was George Russm elusive halfback who broke away for many long runs and was a constant threat Shade Township made all four of its touchdovs ns the hard way drtvrng 43 82 63 and star on the Nrttany Lrons football team for the last two years Patrrck also was present and made a few brref remarks Joseph Macalka coach at the local school was another speaker and presented letters to the varsrty basketball players and sweaters to the varsrty football performers Macalka who came here from Roarrng Sprrng Hrgh a year ago experrenced only a medrocre basketball season
