Every year, the student council sponsors a slave auction to initiate the freshmen class. This year, the boys dressed as girls, having to wear a dress, make-up, panty-hose, wigs, and carry a purse. The girls wore nightgowns, their hair up in curlers, and no makeup. initiation has been toned down because of rough play. The activities of this year's initiation included a slave auction, carrying eggs under the neck, and carrying life savers with toothpicks.
