A fleeting vision of the past, that sometimes I recall, That lifts me up and steadies me, should life give me a It may be hidden in a song, from months or years ago, A feeling I will always have, and only I will know. It may be of a summer night, a walk, or touch, or kiss, Or of a friend or loved one, from time to time I miss. Yes, you may help to make one, to that I will agreeg ,, typ ff- f sq But if it is a memory .. . I'll save it just for me. Two of the members, Beth Banks and Lori Brown, attended the F.H.A. state convention in Des Moines at the Airport Hilton. After compiling a record of 7-11 last year, the Warriorettes are shooting for a .500 season. With 17 girls out, over halt of them returning letter winners, they have a very good shot of doing just that. But to achieve their goal, Coach Widmar believes that the girls will have to have more consistency in both their fielding and pitching, plus better hitting by the whole team. Wrestling is a new sport at Seymour. Since it was not known how wrestling would go over with the students, a two-year contract with Wayne was signed, and the boys were sent there to wrestle. Mr. Busch commented that he didn't know if Sey- mour would sign another agreement with Wayne or whether they will have a team of their own. All the boys out got to wrestle in at least one meet. Only two games were played, both against Wayne. The girls lost the first game by score of 11-8, but rebounded to win the second in a thriller, 8-7. It the weather had been more suitable, they would have had a successful season.
