CHEERLEADER Cheerleading involves more than cheering at games. It takes many hours of practice to learn the cheers and actions as well as cartwheels, splits and jumps. The cheerleaders also sponsored a cheerleading clinic this year for interested students in grades 4-8, parents' night for varsity football players, parents' night for varsity boys' and girls' bas- ketball teams, and prepared a taco supper for all basketball players. They also had some money-raising projects to fund these activities. They plan all pep assemblies, make many spirit posters and make the paper poster for football players to run through at home games.
