The class chose orchid and silver as the class colors, yellow rose as the class flower, and The past forever gone: the future yet to come, as the class motto. The class gift to the school was the intercommunication system installed in all classrooms gymnasium, shop, and extended to the football stadium. Our major undertakings during our Junior year were the play, Hold Everything , and the Junior-Senior Banquet, Top Hat Club . During our Sophomore and Junior years, our class was successful in having its candidates elected king and queen of the annual all-school carnival. Carol Young and David Erickson re- presented us as Sophomores and Rowena Rash and Reno Sebben as Juniors. As Seniors many more important activities and decisions were. a part of our class projects ln addition to choosing our class colors. motto, flower, and gift, careful consideration and considerable thought were given in choosing our commencement speaker and planning our class trip. The Senior play, Night of January l6th , and the publication of the 1954 Tomahawk were two of our greatest accomplishments.
