T HORIZON This newly organized club consists of twenty-three ninth grade girls. WVe are taking an introductory course to learn what is ex- pected of us as Nurses Aides. For practical demonstrations in what we will he doing next fall, members go to the nursinff arts laboratory in the hospital. Our activities turned out favorably because of the very able leadership of the sponsor, Mrs. VI. R. Yenemag and the overall di- rection of the faculty sponsor, Mr. Raymond Peterson. The group also wishes to thank our mother volunteer, Mrs. Fred R. Belmke, and all the mothers who made possible our trips to the hospital. D Doris Hollander FUTURE TEACHERS CLUB This club has been organized for those of the ninth grade who are interested in teaching. There are 225 members in the club. Each person has been assigned to a class in the Elementary Building and assists the teacher whenever asked. Some help with the out- door physical education program, hut most help indoors. Boonstra is looking forward to a very profitable season. Some rules have been changed in the playing of girls' softball and now the girls use a bigger ball and the teams have ten players. They have played only one game so far which they won, but are looking for- ward to the remaining games of the season.
