STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS Slnmling: B. Beck, Sgt.-at-Arms, Nlr. Clark, Adviser Sezlted: S, Dietrich, Secretary, lt. VVilson, President: T, Smith, Vice-President The first semester of 1955-55 was a busy one for Student Council members. Under the capable leadership of president Roger Wilson, a number of new projects were initiated. The Council promoted the idea of an all school dress-up day. Students came wearing their Sunday best, manners included. The Council also sponsored many after-game dances, bought two new ping-pong tables for noon recreation, sponsored a student talent assembly, and worked on ideas for improving the appearance of our cafeteria. One of the most important achievements ot the council was an amendment to its constitu- tion to simplify the procedure by which amendments may be made in the future. Bill Beck and Tony Smith sponsored this change. Buffs Hour: Croat, lledberg, King, Azelborn, Hassett, Nelligan 'l'l1irll How: Sneider, llarrold, D.
