STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS Standing: D. Ileeke, Vice-President, and H. johnson, President Seated: C. Brown, Secretary: Mr. Clark, Adviser, R. Neller, Sgt.-at-Arms Under the guidance of Dick johnson, the second semester Student Council accomplished many com- mendable things .... Among these was a twirp dance, which was sponsored jointly with the Girls' League. The twirp dance was the climax of a twirp week, during which the girl was requested to take over the fellowis job as the provider on dates. One of the highlights of this semester's council was the exchange talent assembly with Eastern High. Our own talent show visited Eastern and was well accepted as was theirs when it performed here. The assembly committee, under Don Roose, was responsible for the details of this exchange. Other noteworthy accomplishments were voting financial assistance to the school's Oracle, charter- ing a bus to send our Pep, band to Flint for the basketball tournaments, and acting as hosts to the Chelsea High School senior class on their visit to our school. Some sections of the school constitution were reviewed, and a few amendments were proposed but no definite decision was made. Buck Row: XVilson, Nelligan, Herbert, Hollis, McConigal, Ilenderson, B.
