Q The fall semester of 1954-1955 was a busy one tor Sexton High School. One of the first responsi- bilities ot the Student Council this year was pre- paring for the Bellamy Flag Award. Members ot the council were hosts to the student guests, and several committees helped to make final arrange- ments for the assembly. The school spirit committee, under Art Cowens, was very active during the first semester. Under Artis capable direction, several pep assemblies were held throughout the year to build spirit among the student body. OFFICERS T. Knight, Sgt.-at-Arms President, C. Millionis, Secretary One annual highlight is the school talent assem- bly. Don Roose, chairman of the assembly com- mittee, did a swell job in getting this show together. The service project for the year was a Toys for Totsv dance, held just before Christmas. Response was excellent and the dance was a success in every way. Other projects for the year included the Home- coming Festivities, beginning of a school safety committee, sale of lnter-City Bus tickets, and many after-game dances.
