W, Fullerton, I. Andrea, I. Bruno, S. Hopkinson G. Boggs, E. Decker, R. McCune flwadcnnzi Uwz, Uuilzwlux, Un Although he is new in this building, he is familiar to Sewickley Township, having taught in both Rilton and Lowber in previous years. He teaches geography, writing, and spelling. Mrs. Anna Herbert has her home room in number twenty-six. She teaches health classes here. Most of Mrs. Herbert's time is spent in the new building as girls' gym teacher. She spon- sors the G.A.A. and advises the cheerleaders. Going straight through Mrs. Herbert's room, you come into the art room, number twenty-seven. Look at all the pretty pictures on the walls! lunior high school students are taught art here by Miss Ruth Bedford. She also teaches English. Don't stop here or we'll stay all day! lt's the cafeteria. Don't those pies look good! You've met all of our teachers in the old building, so let's hurry over to the new building. The first person we see is Miss Mary Pen- man. She is our music teacher. She directs the junior and senior high choruses. Part of her time must be spent teaching music in the different grade schools all over the township. lt is Miss Penman who helps us to get the music ready for our assembly programs. What's that strange noise you say? lt sounds like someone learning to play the violin. lt well might be, for Mr. William Kober's office is near. Mr. Kober gives music lessons, directs the band, and conducts the orchestra, This seems like a busy place. Here is where Mr. lohn Lasko instructs our boys in in- dustrial arts. Their finished products are so lovely! Last, but by no means least, in the boys shower room, we find Mr. lohn Bruno. He teaches boys gym classes and is the head foot- ball coach. l think you will agree with us, now that you have met the faculty of Sewickley Township High School, that they are a fine group of individuals. Teaching is an honor- able profession, overlooked by many because of the wages it yields. These persons are to be given credit for having unselfishly dedicated their lives to this worthy cause. 18
