rulfy, C. Moore, A. Lawson, V. Vassia C. Pritts, R. Fulton, R, Rodebauqh jauqht, un, fhaf. pfuhczplea, All of our secretaries and business students find themselves at some time in room five. Here, Mr. Steven Gyory teaches them the tech- niques of commercial operations. He has the responsibility of being treasurer of the student funds. The next door we corne to is the one lead- ing to Mr. Miller's office. Although we fre- quently found ourselves there, we will not take time for a visit today. ln room seven we learned about our own state. lt is the home room of Mr. loseph Andreo. Mr. Andrea teaches Pennsylvania History, civics, and economics. He is also an assistant coach of the Bisons. Early to bed, early to rise, is the secret of success of Miss Harriet Hayden who presides over room eight. She skillfully teaches typing and shorthand and helps situate girls in sec- retarial jobs for which they are suited. Room nine is a fascinating one to the lovers of science. ln this rooni, Mr. loseph Shott teaches classes in general science and biology. Mr. Shott is responsible for our paper, The Reflector , and is advisor to the journalistic club. We aren't always as likely to find Mr. George Boogs in room Ccontinued on next pagel A. is , Sf' V in ,I cl li y ri 1 VJhen you enumerate the essentials of a successful school program, you find there is nothing more important than the faculty. They unselfishly pour out front their abundant storehouses of knowledge the wisdom which molds our future. Being a teacher is a great responsibility, for they must live lives which set an example to their students. They must have patience to cope with our conduct. As seniors, we have come to know our teachers as friends. When we have problems we look to tnem for help and guidance. We are proud of our faculty here at Sewickley and would like you to know them also. Travel with us down the hallowed halls and meet them individually. Qur first stop is room one, the home economics kitchen where we find Miss Mary Paul. She prepares the home-makers of tomorrow. Pleasant aromas drift from beneath her door which make your mouth water. She is always pleasant and ready to help. As we enter roonz two, we get L1 cheery smile from Mrs. Alta McGrew. She teaches junior high home economics. lt is in her classes that our girls learn the basic fundamentals of home making. The next room, number three, has a friend- ly atmosphere because it is the library, filled with books, and books are our friends. There to help you make wise selections is our tiny sweet librarian, Mrs. lane Rainey. For quite a few years, room four has been home to Mr. Willicirn Fullerton. Mr. Fullerton teaches history and commercial law classes, which make for better citizens of tomorrow. He LS one of our assistant coaches. Across the hall in room five we find Mr. Victor Vassia, who teaches ancient history. He coaches the little Bisons in both football and basketball. l-le enjoys spending his leisure time hunting and fishing with his daughter, Vicky. vig, ,UUIDHQIL .IL ti .-Q., nor' f-'t -x 'U'- TY Q33 471' '-1 se-X
