Mr. Gressman MR. GOOD Mr. Good assumed the duties of the Supervising Prin- cipals Office on january 20, 1947. He had been Principal of Sewickley Township High School from 1936 to 1946. Mr. Good believes that even though the Education is a State function. the schools should be adapted to the needs of the local community and its young people. Mr. McKlveen MR. CRESSMAN Mr. Cressman left us on January 1, 1947. He was selected to serve as Assistant County Superintendent. Mr. Cressman was Supervising Principal of Sewickley Town- ship for 2916 years. During his tenure, the schools of the township made great advance in education and educational services. In all his work he kept uppermost the welfare of the boys and girls in the Schools. NVe regret losing Mr. Gressman but we wish him the success and happiness in his new position which he has earned by his long years of service. Mr. Good MR. McKLVEEN Education is a continuing process. NVe here at Sewick- ley High only serve as one small phase of that process. All of us, from the youngest student to the oldest teacher inter- twine our lives, our hopes, our ambitions. our successes and our failures into one composite pa1't of the tremendous picture of life about us. How well we have lived for this day or this moment or how well we shall continue to serve for the welfare ot mankind has a vital significance. May our attempts be noble ones. l Sewickley - 9 44
