HELEN 0'I-IALLORAN SARAH PARRY PAUL POLLINGER Glee Club IV: Spring- timeg ' ' Scholastic Prize, Civics I. Helen is a real student and knows both how to con- centrate and apply herself. She is always cheerful and believes in mixing wo1'k and fun at times, too. Helen mliglilt be called retiring, but we know that comes from a very commendable spirit of modesty, and not from shyness. Glee Club IV. Sarah is an always cheer- ful girl with a constant smile and a, good word for everyone. Whenever you see Libby or Edith, Sarah is sure to be some- where nearby. Sarah has many fl'iL'11flS, especially in the Junior Class, who are going to miss her next year. Sarah has a pleasant laugh that you hear often for she is always the first to see :I jok e. Track III, Manager IV. Paul is another track star. The fact that we had a track team this year was due largely to his efforts. Every once in a while Pa.ul has a severe attack of pepiti's in a class room, which ends in a visit 'to Dr, Conway. But then he wouldn't be a Hregllar fellar if he didn 't. Paul 'S hair is a bit red, but We've never seen t'he temper that is supposed to go with it. DOROTHY ROSS EUGENE R. SHAFFER ETHEL B. SHIELDS Spring'timeg Basket- ball Mgr. IVQ G. R. I, II, III, IV: Glee Club IV: Sten- ography Certiiicate I, Medal IVQ Bookkeeping Certifi- cate II. III. Dorothy may seem quiet, but we've always had a sneaking suspicion th a t that was only a veneer. Dorothy has u matter-of- fact, efficient way about her that we envy and admire. A student is Dorothy. Hi-Y III, IVg Football II, III: Springtime, Being sick almost half the time has been a hantli- cap that Gene has strug- gled manfullly to overcome. Gene is possessed of an evil genius where football is concerned, for each year he has met with an acci- dent that has put 'him on the invalid's bench for the rest of the season. Only his ill luck kept him from being a real star, every- one knows. Sewihi IVg Treas. Activ- ities Association IV3 G. R. IIQ Vice-Pres. III, Pres.
