Basketball game at Montague House. - p--Practice game at Freeport, MARCH -The Seniors receive their rings. Poor pocketbooks. -Seward enters the District Tournament. but does not meet with their usual suc- cess. --High School students do some cram- ming for exams this week. -A new member in the Junior class. l.e- roy Davis stays with them a while. - -We all have a change of seats. Wlio gets the front ones? APRIL --We enjoy ourselves immensely at Wliit- ney's party by getting fooled, and also by other methods. --The Grade Glee Club and Declamators compete at Lincoln H. S. --Seward school have many things on ex- hibit for the public. A humorous one- act play was presented by the Seward and neighboring schools teachers. ----The Senior class play cast is picked. -l.enore wins second place in the Oratory contest which was held along with Glee Club and Declamation at Roosevelt. Jr. High School. --The banquet in honor of the Basketball squad and the Seniors was sponsored by the P. T. A. COMING EVENTS MAY --The Juniors will entertain the Seniors at a Theater party. --The Seniors will take examinations over the semester. -The senior play entitled Cyclone Sal- ly will be presented. -Commencement exercises. 2 go-Christmas vacation. -We have several visitors. -Did every one see the New Year in? .JANUARY -No school. --Some one else's birhtday. Mildred Win- der has an accident concerning her toe. -We sent a fruit basket to the Measley Bunch . -,We go to Rockford to get more ads. Please don't ask about the weather. -High School party at Clevelands How was the sleigh ride? -Another victory for Seward over Win- nebago. A new gym is planned. -Basketball game at Montague house. --l wonder of Art's eye is sore? -Art receives a letter. Oh. let me read it. -Still two more visitors. Two last year Senior boys. Guess who? -WhcJ's lucky? What exams do you take? -Seward is defeated by one point at Shannon. -The Seniors' rings are decided on. -Did every one see the best game of the year at Pecatonica? XVe won and how! Due to the yelling of course. FEBRUARY -The English Ill class seemed to enjoy ng each other trying to say l.incoln's Gettysburg Address . -The Basketball squad have their pic- tures taken. -The County Tournament. Seward de- feats Pecatonica: but loses to Harlem. -Seward wins third place in the tourna' ITICDI. -Marian entertains the High School at her home. l wonder how Mary and lrvin stood it? -The boys play l-incoln. -Shirley faws down and goes boomf lt happened in the Sewing class. The Seniors have good luck in getting ads in Rockford.
