Palmer Moth is a member of the library committee organized to keep the books in order. Mabel Runnion competed in the preliminary declamatory contest held at the school house in March. Miss Eldora Fischer is a member of the bulletin-board and lost-and-found committee. Four members of our class were in the preliminary declamatory and oratorical contests held here at the school in March. The four boys of our class were all on the basket ball team. On the thirteenth of December, we sponsored a basket social. program. and plate lunch at the school to obtain funds for entertaining the seniors which was an event of the latter part of the school year. Ida Mae lficlxnian, ilihis room is composed ol' two grades, with a total ol' eighteen pttpils. each one full of ambi' tion and interested in school worls. lileven of these pupils being in eighth grade are worlsing for hnal examinations, 'lihis year Miss Althof assisted in introducing the Cirammar Room News. for which various pupils talte turns in furnishing material. Robert Aurand' sends news from this room and other rooms to the Junior Star. Another interesting feature this year was the attendance contest between the Grammar and Intermediate rooms. The room with the highest percentage in perfect attendance was Io be given a party by the losing side, Our room was unlucky, so we were expected to do the entertaining. We are taking an active part in art. and the boys are especially interested in the carving ol objects out of soap. Wlaile the boys are proud of there record in baslostball. the girls are showing keen interest in County Cilee Club and Declamatory contests. .lean Scott is representing the grades in the County Deelamatory contest, The seventh and eighth grades laboring under the motto Hard work with a generous mixture of fun have enjoyed this year together very much, and would like to spend another year together, but the time is at hand for us to be separated for a year.
