Art All arts, before they are appreciated, must be understood. The Art Depart- ment holds the task ot teaching the stu- dent to recognize color and design in art. With the recognition ot these ele- ments comes the ability and right to dis- criminate in this medium. Ed, Vic and Paul work with Mr. Maver on the title page of the yearbook. Mr, C, Hill, Mr, A. Sherman, and Mr. M. Metz gather round the piano in the Music Room. Music Whether a person be an active crea- tor or a passive listener, our Music De- partment provides us with a variety of material and the education necessary to reveal the beauty of this phase of art. Tremendous satisfaction is the natural result gained from this knowledge. Choir members blend their voices in song under the direction of Mr. Sherman. Mrs. R. Bockiel, District Coordinator of Art, Mr Maver and Miss H Kruger add a new picture to our Art Gallery. .1 ff... 19
