The Long lsland Association of Secretaries offers a yearly scholarship for secretarial students wishing to continue their education. Its many courses, which are designed to meet the needs of all youth, try to develop ability in nu- merical and spatial relationships so that it may serve each individual effectively in his field of endeavor. The intensive four year program offered by this department is designed to train students for mathe- matics scholarships. Science, the field of ever-increasing importance in our modern world, is consequently a department of major importance here at Sewanhaka. The obiective of the department is to provide fundamental informa- tion on the Physical and Biological sciences as applied to our daily living.
