To EDUCATE the estimated enrollment of 8,523 students this September inevitably requires changes for which the community and the Board of Education have planned. Where high school education has long been synonymous with Sevvanhaka, it Will, in the future, be carried in strategically located schools to be completed at various times in the next several months. How will this building program affect you? The class of l57 Will remain at Se- vvanhaka to become the last single graduat- ing class in the district. In l958 there will be five senior graduating classes. Se- Wanhaka will continue its excellent aca- demic program for approximately l40O Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors and serve as the vocational and technical center for the entire district. Sewanhakans, you have a real challenge: maintain the excellent standards and tra- ditions developed at Sewanhaka for twenty- six years and become the pioneers in the new schools by organizing student affairs, setting examples and standards, and es- tablishing a reputation of excellence for which you and your successors will equally be proud.
