Passing lhrough lhe Malhemalics deparlmenl, I saw anolher plaque which slaled lhal lhe wings ol lhe main building were annexed in l937. Then I saw lhe Vocalional Building, buill in l94O, lhe new loolball lield purchased in I942, lhe Radio Collage, and ils anlenna cornpleled on Oclober Isl, I947, and lhe nearly compleled Agricullural Building. Being Wednesday I wenl Io fhe audilorium for our assembly, inslead ol going 'ro my regular homeroom. After affendance was Taken, fhe program began. Con- sequenfly The second and fhird periods were shorlened . . . Was I glad when The eighth period was over, and fhankful Thar I wasn'+ a Freshman, mosl of whom had a ninlh period!
