Jack has shown possiv biliTies in The halT mile and broad lump while Mac works primarily on The mile. Several newcomers To Track This year have done well considering Their lack oT experience. Don I-lill, a senior, has carried boTh hurdles and been a uTiliTy man in almosT every oTher evenT. Cecil l-larT, a Treshman, shows The greaTesT poTenTial Trom This age group wiTh his pole vaulTing. Already he has cleared 9' ow. AnoTher Treshman working hard is Ross Akin. l-le and Mike Long are running maTes in The 440. This is also Mike's TirsT year in Track and his Times are irnproving. Ralph Bowman, a junior, has been helping The Tigers keep alive in The Tield evenTs placing in The high iump, shoT, and discus. Tommy Morgan, a senior, has shown considerable improvemenT over lasT year and sTill remains The TasTesT sprinTer on The Tiger squad.
