One of the greatest was Miguel de Cervantes, who wrote many things, among which his most famous and best piece is Don Quixote de la Mancha. Cervantes was imprisoned -in a jail in Sevilla and While imprisoned here he conceived the idea for that great masterpiece. Sevilla has been an inspiration for young and old, emperors and paupers, Romans, Arabs and Spaniards through- out the ages.
