Suzanne Kaiser Gee, I'm Happy!! Cheryl Ray keeping up the clapping spirit! R x , jane Seaqu-ist really yells to keep the Pep Club going! Our Sevilla High School cheerleaders tried through- out the year to keep the student's spirit growing and to encourage people to support the Toros. This year they stressed crowd control and good sportsmanship. They also tried to achieve unity in motion by com- bining the former styles of movement with a new stiff arm approach. The 1966-1967 cheerleaders are proud to be a part of the Toros' team while display- ing the victory spirit and good sportsmanship through- out both the football and basketball seasons. Sl L. asketball The Sevilla Toros had a very successful varsity basketball season, in view of effort and teamwork. However, they worked hard but couldn't manage to gain those extra two victory points. The Toros had a 1-7 win-loss record in season play with Madrid and Rota and came in third with a 1-2 record in the four team tournament. Despite this, this record does not indicate the lack of ability of the team, for many of the games were very close matches within 2 or 3 points dif- ference on the final scores. Our team was very successful in the San Pablo Intramural League and others, compiling a great string of victories. Pete Hampton, Jimmie Dean, and Tim Buford were the All-Conference selections for the ten-man All-Spain team.
