Sevilla Sevilla in its grandeur, its Roman, Moor- ish, and Spanish architecture which all add up to give it, alone above all cities, a taint of delight. Sevilla amidst the rolling hills and wheat fields of the region which bears its name, Sevilla! The center of the joy and happiness that many the World over think is so characteristic of this one province of Spain called Andalucia. Sevilla has existed for many centuries and through many empires. It was first used by the Phoenicians and once their great em- pire began to crumble, it was inhabited by the great Roman Empire. The Romans did much for the architecture of Sevilla, as can be seen in the Pillars of Hercules, al- ledged place of an ancient Roman church, and the Wall, built in 250 B.C. when Plaza de Alameda fPillars of Herculesj
