He teaches Creative Writing and Critical Reading to those students who are interested in developing an understanding of English. The Impulse staff depends on him, as their advisor, for help with the school literary magazine. Miss Wiest teaches both English and Journalism. She is the advisor to Talon, the school newspaper.

MATHEMATICS Mr. Preston Cshown abovel is the head of the Math Department. He teaches College Algebra and Trig. and is the Track and Cross Country coach.
