He teaches Creative Writing and Critical Reading to those students who are interested in developing an understanding of English. The Impulse staff depends on him, as their advisor, for help with the school literary magazine. Miss Wiest teaches both English and Journalism. She is the advisor to Talon, the school newspaper.

Mr. Leake helps in the coaching of the Falcons in football P.O.T.C., Advanced Placement History and is the advisor to the Social Studies Club. Mrs. Reed enthusiastically advises A.F.S. E QMS ,- At Right Cleft to rightj Mr. Leisure and Mr. Sprouse. Mr. Leisure teaches World History and World Geography. He is the advisor of Interclub Council. Mr. Sprouse teaches Eco- nomics, Business Law, and P.O.T.C. After school he gives up his room to those students who like school so much that they stay after for detention.

Mrs. Kirk is sponsor for the Majorettes. Wrsfwwgw? The Freshmen are introduced to high school English by Miss Dawson Qseatedj and Mrs. Hoffman. Miss Dawson advises the Cheer- leaders and helps them promote school spirit. CLeft to rightj Mrs. Jenkins, Mrs. Pace, and Miss Yates. The Junior English teachers explain the essence of our culture through American Literature.
