The start of any lacrosse game is the face- off. In the top picture the official is placing the ball between the sticks of Don Hasfur- t11erff?15, light jerseyl and an opposing St. Ma.ry's player. Seconds later in the bottom picture the two players are scrambling for control of the ball as the other midfielders close in the ball is temporarily betw e e n Hasfurther's feet.
