Although defeating all other teams in the regular season, the Falcons failed to capture an anticipated first place in the Championship Meet at Northeast. Falcon harriers, displaying top performers in Walt Chitwood, Richard Sun, Mark Jacobs, and jim Brown, established a strong lead. However, the Annapolis Panthers plunged to capture first place in the 100 yd. dash and in major vaulting events.
