County Foot- ball Champions, to a 12-12 tie, in the seventh Turkey Bowl classic. The game, exh ib ite d on Falcon Field for the first time, showed the Fal- cons establishing 12-6 lead at halftime. Late in the fourth quarter the Falcons still controlled the ball, until the Pan- thers slipped six points to tie the score, 12-12. The score remained the same as time ran out, and forced the tie. The game displayed several signif- icant factors: 1. The Falcons were the only team the Panthers failed to defeat. Annapolis was previously undefeated and untied. 2. The Falcons were the only team to hold the Panthers to less than three touchdowns during the entire 1966 season. 3. The Falcons are the only team, other than Brooklyn Park, to score against the Panthers. 4. Dave Reppard won the Russell Tro- phy as the outstanding linesman of the game. T IIKEY BOWL
