The staff spon- sors an annual contest To encour- age students to submit their work to the CAULDRON. A prize is awarded for each of the best arti- cles in the fields of poetry, short stories and essays. Each issue ot the CAULDRON is submitted for rating and the pros- pects look good for this year's is- sue to live up to the standards set by the '63 staff when the maga- zine placed in a national contest. The TALON was published once a month this year by a staff com- posed of the iournalism class and other interested students.
