The result of their intense practice was illustrated by Phyllis in her per- formance with the fire baton. Quill and Scroll The Quill and Scroll is a national journalistic hon- or society. Membership is awarded for substantial and outstanding contribu- tions to journalistic issues. Eligible students must be juniors or seniors and have worked on EMBERS, TAL- ON, and CAULDON staffs. The members are from left to right: Betty Larson, Bob VanHouten, Maureen Ray, Dave O'Brien, and Anne Lovell.
