Cilman. The opening match was lost to Gilman by a 19-6 score. Wright and Cooley veterans held out to draws in their weights and Dick Tell also an oldtimer won by time advantage. All Severn s new recruits in the sport lost by falls and decisions. This revealed our weakness in ex- perience which however was well made up at the season s end. McDonogh. The following meet with McDonogh as hosts was lost this time by a 23-6 margin. Here again experience triumphed in the form of Wriglut and Cooley both taking their bouts by time advantages. A great improvement was shown, however, all the bouts being lost in the last few minutes of action. City C. City College, Severn's next rivals were sent home under an 18-6 defeat. In this meet Chapman, Wriglut and Reed threw their men and Captain Cooley drew a time advantage over his opponent. Poly. Severn in her next meet came up against Poly.
