Following the withdrawal from Hungnam, the 7th landed at Pusan and was displaced north some 50 miles to an assembly area in the vicinity of Yongchon. But there was to be little rest for any of the UN forces, weakened and hurt as they Were. At Yongchon, the Division was built back to strength and re-equipped and preparation for line duty was made.
