A IJ Z Here we learn the principles of physics. This course, which in- volves the study of the efficiency of machinery, atomic energy, and molecular structure is very difficult. Perhaps, with Mr. Baker's guidance we can conquer it. ,Z ff' M N ll ,. lt's fun to type and we en- joy it, but when we look at some of our final drafts, we wonder if we will ever be experts. Mr. Shivar helps us very much,and maybe we'l1 make it, after all. X K gs Here we are getting a better understanding of our bodies. Mr. Herring is strict, but it is for our own good. Perhaps by the end of the year our bodies will be improved physically. tl 651' xff' ,ffl This is the only period the girls are allowed to take agriculture. I wonder if we get on Mr. Shivar's nerves?

V Y P, fl-Lf, LA r-'RAN c E .ii The fundamentals of French are sometimes not-so-easy for us in French II, but as time passes we grasp this strange language. Then we realize that English is for us at times just the same. 'J The mechanics of grammar are essential if 2 f N we are to become good speakers and writers. I 3 We try to improve ourselves during this year. We also study English literature from Anglo- Saxon times to modern times. Our most vivid memory is Whan that Aprille from Chaucer's CANTERBURY TALES. V. U- fy, 5 We go from years and years B. C. to the present time in this course. We study about the wars, emperors, and philosphers of years gone by. We do wonder how Plato could be so great or the Leaning Tower of Pisa so famous! Oh, those X's, Y's, and Z's! There is a wonderful satisfaction in solving a problem that almost had Mr. Creel stumped.

We are learning some of the basic rules of mathematics in business math. It is not a hard course, but it increases our efficiency and skill in the fundame ntal processes of adding, subtracting and multi- plying! rf Q a All of life subsists on the productivity of our soil. Learning how to better utilize it is just one of the phases of en- deavor we study in our agriculture classes. l Mr.Baker is endeavoring day after day to teach us science in preparation for the coming years of high school and perhaps college. We continue to build onto our grammar foundations begun in past years.
