PROPHE Our adventurous Mrs. Mann, residing on the very peak of the North Pole, in the year 1967, tums her extraordinarily powerful telescope to see the progress made by her homeroom class of 1952. Scanning the expanses rapidly, yet pausing when she sees an object of her inspection, she sees Sondra Stewart decorating the interior of the brand new White House, planned and constructed by Kenneth Millice. Kenneth, voted the boy most likely to succeed, has certainly proved his ability. Frieda Baker, Jewell Brown, and Marlene Clark are private secretaries to Terry Wirtley, greatest lover ever to be filmed on the screen. The sole purpose of these secretaries is to answer the millions of fan letters received by Terry every day. Mrs. Mann is pleasantly surprised to find Don Black and Chris Radovich ship-wrecked on the Gee- Gee Islands. These two have been ship-wrecked since 1956 but the navy has made no effort to locate them. Back to Florida, she discovers Patty Henry, F. B. I. agent, hot on the trail of James Dozier, millionaire, hiding somewhere in the Everglades of Florida. A little more to the right, she discovers Mrs. George Coning, nee Peggy Miles, who has made a career of her family, George I, II, III, IV, V, and almost VI. Mrs. Mann mops her brow as she sees Margaret Lee and Patty Koffer. Margaret with her 12 children has a full, but happy house. Patty, now Mrs. Bob' Alexander, has a full house of 8. Focusing on the Blue Jewell, a night club ovmed and operated by suave Shelby Martin, she finds that the club is featuring the sensational voice of Marjorie Phares, one of the outstanding singers of all times. fKefauver has lost his battle.D In Madison Square Gardens she finds Bob Sams, the slightly sensational manager of the up and coming Ice Follies Star, Dixie Rice. Gene Hacker is on his trip to the moon. Gene left his friend, Paul Hartman, busy on his T. V. program, Paul Hartman's Bean Bag Show , replacing Jerry Lester. Turning to Seven Mile, Mrs. Mann gasps as she spies the grocery store operated by Mary Lee Malcom, a chemistry teacher in the new Seven Mile School building. Looking toward New York, she sees Barbara Strong is Dean of Women in the Joy Rogers Business College. Melvin Moore, an Olympic tennis star, is found taking a trip around the world on a ship owned by James Philpot and Claude Hawkins, ex 4-star generals. In Paris she finds Pauline Taylor and her magic piano, accompanying the golden voice of Andy Jones, also a well-known author. His current sensational novel is titled High School Days at Seven Mile . Focusing upon the largest hospital in the world, she finds Joe Hibbard, a well known aviator, hos- pitalized from a disastrous crash in the hills of Kentucky. His nurse, Joan Stidham, is a potential Florence Nightingale. Mrs. Mann is astonished to find Gail Moore, a civil service agent, investigating the Bobcats on the greatest football fix ever to come about. Don Statzer is playing half-back for the Bobcats. Looking now, at the Ohio State Penitentiary, fdon't jump at conclusionsj she discovers Josephine Reese posing as a Matron, while studying for her career in Juvenile Delinquency. S. of Cincinnati Girls' Attendance Director Business Educa Languages F. T. A. Sponsor University tion Department ulty M.A SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Kennie Millice, Patricia Koffer, Terry Wirtley and Mary Lee Malcom are the charter members of the graduating class of '52. These eager beginners enrolled in the first grade at Seven Mile in 1940, with Miss Martha Pettet as teacher. Charoline Dinnie joined these four in 1941. Coming from Hamilton, Warren Burkhardt enrolled in the third grade with Mrs. Mildred Bayes as teacher. The fourth grade was uneventful but profitable under the supervision of Mrs. Irene Gath. Shelby Martin deliberately joined the class in grade five. Just as deliberately and with all her charm and talent beaming, Sondra Stewart joined the sixth grade under Mrs. Hilda Weaver's instructions. Mr, Marc Jewell was the homeroom teacher for our seventh year. We were proud of ourselves because we could then change classes. Marjorie Phares and Bob Sams came from Collinsville, and wonder of wonders, we presented our first play before the entire school. It was entitled Dagwood and Blondie and was written by those creative members of the class, Pat Koffer and Mary Lee Malcom. The entire class participated. During the eighth grade Claude Hawkins deserted Fairfield to join in a more illustrious class. In the ninth grade our class was the smallest in the school, with only fifteen members. We gave our home room sponsor, Mrs, Blanche Mann, something to remember in a party unequaled before or since. We had chills and thrills with mental telepathy. In 1949, our sophomore year, we became the second largest class in the school. Rapid growth, one must admit. Coming into the class were, Freida Baker, Don Black, Jewel Brown, Betty Cain, Marlene Clark, James Dozier, Gene Hacker, Pat Henry, Andy Jones, Margaret Lee, Peggy Miles, Gail Moore, Melvin Moore, James Philpot, Chris Radovich, Josephine Reese, Dixie Rice, Lowell Roark, Joy Rogers, Don Sratzer, Joan Stidham, and Barbara Strong. Time and space prohibit details, but these wonderful people hailed from New Miami, Hamilton, and Monroe. Paul Hartman, small but powerful, came to us.from Hamilton in our junior year. We were no slouches when we gave a prom for the class of '51. It was a lovely affair and Marjorie Conover and Don Gobel were crowned queen and king respectively. We gathered for the last year of our high school career on September 5, 1951, in room 201 with Mrs. Blanche Mann again our home room sponsor. Two new students were here to be welcome, namely Pauline Taylor and Joe Hibbard. Our Senior class play, Head First , a comedy in three acts was presented November 9. We were 34. 31 in the red when our last school year opened, but before the last of November we had met all expenses and given our class gift of S100 to help purchase a cyclorma for the stage. This left us a healthy balance in our treasury to add by means of various projects. DMINISTR TID ziswmsi ,E Q I rr 1:21 PAUL R. NEEDLES Our sincere wish is that the members of the Senior Class of 1952 will be good citizens in our American democracy. Make a determined effort to safe guard the liberties and ideals upon which our government was founded. World conflict of ideologies is now going on. If ours is worth keeping, it is worth fighting for. We believe that all people should have the privilege of free speech, free religion, and free enterprise. We should work with every available means to see that we continue to have that right. Your efforts, or lack of interest, may deter- mine our future and that of generations to come. Our best wishes go with you as you enter upon the threshold of life. B0 RD OF EDUCATIO Seated: Service Record Mr. Ralph Beiser - vice president 10 years Mr. David Weiser - to be installed Entering.
