Turner, K. Horine, C. Hancock, E. Library Club The Library Club was composed of seventeen Library des. Each aide had several periods a week in the library en she assisted others in finding materials and helped th routine duties. Two Book Fairs were sponsored by the Club. The pro- eds went to the buying of more books for the Library. me book fines collected by the Club were used to buy for the Library. Audio- Visual Club An association of Audio-Visual Aides was formed to help Seven Hills get the most from its A-V equipment and materials. These girls, from grades seven to twelve, familia- rized themselves with the intricacies of tape recorders, projectors, phonographs, and the language laboratory and helped to keep them in top condition and functioning smoothly. In addition to checking and operating the machines, the aides brought to the attention of the fac- ulty and students the audio-visual resources which Seven Hills has, so that the fullest educational use could be made of them. Preston. X l l l The yearbook staff started the year off with tli highest record of ad sales ever reached. This enabled th staff to add a gold seal to the cover of the book and ma ' possible the addition of special photographic affects the yearbook. The staff worked especially hard to draw up the ye book layout. This was the first time it had been given th opportunity to do so. The group had fun deciding ho: the layout should be done. Mrs. Mosby, the adviser, and three junior members 1 the yearbook staff attended the Southem Interscholastg Press Association conference at Washington and Lee Uri versity to learn more about the skills and methods 4 putting together a good yearbook.
