The literary magazine compiled was a repre- sentative collection of students' writings over the past two years. The Scripsit serves as a reflection of students' work and as an outlet for their ideas. Over spring vacation, Mrs. Burrows and Ellen Bowler attended the Southern lnterscholastic Press Association con- ference at Washington and Lee Uni- versity which provided them with a better understanding of the skill needed to produce a good literary magazine. This experience, along with the staffs diligence and hard work enabled them to produce the best Scripsit ever.
