' For the past two years Mrs. Leyburn Mosby has been culty adviser to our yearbook. She has been, however, ,ore of a friend than an adviser. Though we have often t her house in a state of bedlam while pushing for a adline, she remained cheerful. - A faculty member for three years as well as yearbook adviser, Mrs. Mosby has been a great asset to our school. It is with pleasure and appreciation that we, the Senior Class, dedicate the 1969 Septencollium to Mrs. Mosby. 1 3 'f Q -Q EA' Those were the days, my friend. Everyone was there! lt was really great for everyone to be together after ten years. Priscilla, who is now owner of Prissy's Cafe, closed early so she could make it on time and brought a hot lunch for everybody. Brenda, who is now Head-mistress of V.E.S., was there knowing everything about everybody. Brenda said, Let me tell you some- thing!! Although La1la's too modest to admit it, she has just been presented the Mother Of The Year Award. It was awarded by Lucile, our friendly neighborhood O.B. Clarkie came equipped with enough blush-on and freckle remover to last each of us a year. She was followed by Anne Taylor, alias Minnesota Skinny, who brought her portable pooltable. 30 Sandy and Anne Farrar walked in late after a hard day in Cour Anne, our only member of the Jet Set , was charged with wrecl less driving. When Anne discovered that Sandy was her Hond- Judge , she fast-talked her way out of 30 days in the Pampl' Pen. Wendy, the famous New York designer, presented us with h+ new Mod Minis. Then who should walk in but shy Becky, who ha just been elected the first female Chairman of the Harvard Speer: Department? Karen walked in wearing her new Lady Clairol ha color - Ere engine red. Well, Linda don't let it get you down that you're still an o maid. All you have to do is settle down with one boy. Sorry I ha- to msh, but I have to get ready for my dance debut at Linco Center. The literary magazine compiled was a repre- sentative collection of students' writings over the past two years. The Scripsit serves as a reflection of students' work and as an outlet for their ideas. Over spring vacation, Mrs. Burrows and Ellen Bowler attended the Southern lnterscholastic Press Association con- ference at Washington and Lee Uni- versity which provided them with a better understanding of the skill needed to produce a good literary magazine. This experience, along with the staffs diligence and hard work enabled them to produce the best Scripsit ever. , , ' ,la .f--1 1. S. Septencollium 331 5' SEATED: J. Gifford, L. Hancock, K.
