Here on the Hilll' we Work and pray together-and we also play together. The direction of this phase of our college life is the function of the Women's Athletic Association. Under the moderation of Miss Bessie Mc- Manus and Miss Eunice Dirsa, the W.A.A. is active throughout the year with tennis, bowling, hockey, ping-pong, and badmin- ton tournamentsg hiking, swim- ming meets, and intramural bas- ketball games. Affording every student an opportunity for par- ticipation in one or more sports, the W.A.A. fosters a spirit of comradeship and cooperation among its members-the entire student body. Swimming enthusiasts clock their time for the intramural 7 tl6'6.S'. H ermes, our mascot, refuses to disclose who will he the winner of the inter class haslzethall tournament.
