SHEPHERDESS The Shepherdess serves as the log of Seton High School recording in turn the eXtra-curricu- lar and academic activities of the school year. With this coverage goes the hope that memories will be tucked away for future years. This year the yearbook staff had the opportunity to attend conferences' at Columbia, University of Mary- land, and Villanova. From these conventions they gathered invaluable information concerning journalism and year book productions. Joanne Wachter, editor of the yearbook, checks the file to make certain the records are correct.

Zlze aptitude fo obey wisefy is correfafive STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council, the governing body of Seton High School, makes all regulations con- ducive to the order of the school. At the same time this organization strives to promote coopera- tion and understanding between faculty and stu- dents. Cooperation Week Drives, Honor Court, and daily functioning of the Student Council adcl together to form a successful year. Mary Pat Johnston, president of the Student Council, leads the Act of Contrition which ends the school day. Stern judge Pat Cavey holds a session of Honor Court with the help of Martha Kuhn and Pat Kline. Kathy Simon, treasurer of the Student Council, examines a ticket which is the bane of existence for some unfor- tunate Setonites.
