SETON HIGH NEWS Seton High News, which is published monthly, reports the busy life of Setonites. lt tells not only the story of activities, but also the stories of the girls themselves. The task of covering the news does not end with meeting deadlines and running to the printer. Members of the staff learn to appreciate their art at press conferences on the campus of Maryland University and Columbia University. Rating a '4First Class Honor Ratingv from NSPA and a Second Class Honor Ratingi' from CSPA, Seton High News has entered the race for 5'lVledalist. Miss MeTcagne, moderator of the Seton High News, advises Florence Harbold, Pat Hop- kins and Mary Annc Ellis how to improve the next edition.

SHEPHERDESS The Shepherdess serves as the log of Seton High School recording in turn the eXtra-curricu- lar and academic activities of the school year. With this coverage goes the hope that memories will be tucked away for future years. This year the yearbook staff had the opportunity to attend conferences' at Columbia, University of Mary- land, and Villanova. From these conventions they gathered invaluable information concerning journalism and year book productions. Joanne Wachter, editor of the yearbook, checks the file to make certain the records are correct.
