Philomena, played by Leona Schmoll, fakes a fainting spell to fool the-school mistress in the second act of '5The Divine Reward. DRAMATIC CLUB Acting ability is not a prerequisite for admit- tance into the Dramatic Club. More important is a willingness to work for the success of dra- matic productions. The club offers its own reward by developing poise and personality. Staging, make-up, lighting and costuming are important factors in play productions. Mem- bers of the Dramatic Club are given training and practice in these fields. That Sister Mary William trains in technique and presentation is attested by the productions of this year. The Christmas performance and the annual spring play, 6'The Divine Reward were professionally done. Nor should we overlook the fact that the recognition scene from Anastasia won first place in the contest sponsored by St. Joseph College.

Plans are made for Don Alonso by Sister Jane Marie, Moderator, Alicla Erdman, Carolyn Blanchard, Lynn Forrest, Sheila Smith, Marie Cwiek, and Marian Mulh, the Clee Club officers. GLEE CLUB Much has been contributed to the cultural side of Seton school life by Seton High Glee Club. Seton High Glee Club has contributed much to the cultural side of school life. Under the patient leadership of Sister Jane Marie and Mrs. VonRinteln, the Clee Club rehearsed in the early fall to present jointly with Mt. St. Joseph boys the operetta, '4Don Alonso's Treasure. At the intermission in the Christmas Play, they delighted the student body with a program of familiar carols and hymns. Generous- ly have they given their talents for PTA meetings and assemblies.
