Under the patronage of St. Joseph the Worker, the club endeavors to instill into all its members a love for the ideals required to take Christ into the business world. Students study ways and means to build up good work habits and concentrate on developing a Mary-like personality. The members of the Busi- ness Club have affiliated themselves with the National Future Business Leaders of America, an organization which now totals 40,000 mem- bers. Through active membership of worthwhile educational, vocational and leadership experi- ence at local, state and national levels, activities include volunteer work for religious and civic organizations and field trips to business and industry. Special instructions from successful business leaders and graduates who have found a career in the business world are periodically given to members. Pat Wilson, Phyllis Shine, and Marlene Hejduk atten- tively watch as a Vari-type machine is demonstrated. The idea inspiring all this enter- prise is the desire to impart to others lessons of the faith that we often take for granted. The work is absorbing, but it is a certain way of sharing with the less fortunate a part of that Christian heritage which is ours. Members of this organization help teach in the parishes on Sundays. Many will also generously sacrifice their vacation time to teach religion courses. A lesson on the Fourth Commandment IS prepared by Concetta Conigliaro, Bonnie Blasco,

The Children of Mary Associa- tion tries to put into daily practice those virtues which 'will make them resemble their model. Under the leadership of this organization, much charity has been practiced. One group visits City Hospital on various occasions taking with them timely treats and useful articles. Children of Mary Reception, Lourdes Week, and the annual May crowning have all made this year holier and happier for all members. Concetta Vinci, Joyce Doggendorf, and Ann Mengers repare the Children of Mary bulletin board for May.
