ASSEMBLIES Assemblies are given every Wednesday with the spiritual, cultural and intellectual develop- ment of the students as their purpose. Distin- guished guests dotted the schedule of assemblies this year. Among these were Eleanor Arnett Nash, noted newspaper columnist and lecturer, musicians from the Peabody Conservatory of Music and Sister Florence, who had recently returned from Bolivia. Sister Dolores graciously presents Pat Mildenherg the award she earned by participating in the Athletic Asso ciation.

The P.T.A. also sponsors throughout the year several events such as the Harvest Festival, the Toy Sales, the Country-Store Bingo, and the Spring Bazaar for the bene- iit of the school. rs.
