Ifhildreu of Mary Each Child of Mary aims to attain personal sanctification and the sanctification of others through prayer and good example. Membership in the Assoication is open to every Setonite who desires to consecrate herself to Mary. Aspirants requesting admission receive the Miraculous Medal suspended on a green ribbon which is worn for a probation period. In May the green ribbon and medal is replaced by the blue ribbon and medal-the insignia ofa Child of Mary. Spreading devotion of Mary has been accomplished this year by making green scapulars, publication of Marinews, and by the widespread use of Marian pamphlets. Antoinette Creamer, Pat Finnegan and Marianna Matassa help Rosalie Kelly, president, prepare for reception of Children of Mary.
