Salem' 611111 For those whose interest in science extends beyond the classroom the Science Club offers an opportunity to be- come acquainted with the various scientific fields open to women. This year by field trips to the F.B.l. in Washington the members learned the application of scientific knowl- edge in relation to the detection of crime. This organiza- tion endeavored also to give the girls an introduction to the nature of analytic chemistry. Hein 61116 Which came first the chicken or the egg. The mem- bers of the Beto Club learn the answers to such puzzling questions. Problems in biological science are discussed 'PII and explained at the club meetings. Speakers offer bene- fits of their experiences and field trips supply experience for the students themselves.
