LOUISE DE MARILLACS The Louise de Marillacs is a section of the Association of the Ladies of Charity established by St. Vincent de Paul for the visit- ing of the sick and the aged. It has the some end, the same spirit, but it is composed exclusively of young girls who propose to honor our Lord Jesus Christ as the source and model of all charity, according to the words of St. Vincent, and to imitate Him in visiting the sick, especially the aged and the triendless. On the day of her reception after a six-month probation period, each girl receives a smoll indulgenced crucifix which she wears when visiting her old people. At Seton the Thursday activity period sees groups of these generous girls visiting such places as City Hospital, the Little Sisters of the Poor, Montebello Hos- pital, the Melchor Nursing Home, and the Fayette Street Con- valescent Home. These gay misses are on their way to bring happiness and cheer to the less fortunate. an---Y Ar 1 .. ci Q. Angela Fuchs, president, gathers some goodies for the old people.
