The Reverend William J. McCIimont, C.M., addresses the student body on the virtues of Our Lady. T . pg K iff 1 if CHILDREN OF MARY Established at Seton in 1948, the Children ot Mary is one of the most important organizations. Its aim is personal sanctitico- tiong its motto, To Jesus through Mary , its insignia, the Miraculous Medal. The association is the fulfillment of a desire expressed by Blessed Mother to St. Catherine Laboure for such an organization. Through the study af Mary, students learn to possess Christ by leading a more interior life and then to radiate Him to others through good example. On entering this organiza- tion, one must remain an aspirant from February to the following December and promise to say the daily Rosary and receive weekly Holy Communion. Among other things, the Little Oftice of the Blessed Mother is recited at the monthly meeting held in the auditorium. Mary has claimed every Child of Mary as her own in a special way, and they in turn show their love for their Mother by faithfully living up to their promises and by endeavoring to be Mary-like in all things. ,JN ,ap-1 presidentg Agatha Deluca, secretary, Catherine Elliott, treasurer, check Children of Mary attendance records.
